Pumpkin Bread

I've been making this recipe for over a decade, and tonight I managed to improve upon it. The recipe makes 2 loaves, but for ease of serving smaller portions to a large group of people, I decided to bake it in a 9 x 13 pan instead. 45 minutes in a 325 degree oven and it was perfection. Rich and moist with a light, fluffy custurdy texture. It's a super easy recipe, with ingredients you probably have in the pantry (except, maybe, the pumpkin).

2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup melted butter
3 eggs
1 can of pumpkin (One-pie)
2 Cups flour
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Baking powder
1 t Baking soda
1 t cloves
1 t Cinnamon
1t nutmeg

Preheat oven at 325. Mix Sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time till
mixed. Add pumpkin. Mix throughly.

Mix dry ingredients in a seperate bowl. Add dry ingredients to the wet. fully incorporate, but don't over mix.

makes 2 loaves. bake for ~ 60 mins.

OR use a 9X13 pan, 45 minutes, or till toothpick comes out clean. Make sure to butter the pan.
