The slices were large and thick, but not too doughy and quite good. I think I may prefer Pinocchio’s for Sicilian style, but I’ve been eating that for 2 decades. The rice ball was excellent – enormous (almost the size of a tennis ball), perfectly crispy on the outside and rice, gooey cheese, meat and peas(!) on the inside.
The prices are dirt cheap and if you are willing to wait in line (or have someone who is willing to do it for you (Thanks, Cara!!!)), you should definitely check out Umberto’s.
