Sabra Grill, Cambridge

When I don’t have the time or energy to pack lunch, more often than not, I get a Greek salad with grilled chicken from Big Daddy’s. It’s a good salad, to be sure, but a girl gets bored with chicken on greens after a while. I’ve managed to convince my work buddies that we should have “International Thursdays” - a chance for us to bust out of our Big Daddy’s rut.
This week it was Middle Eastern fare from Sabra Grill in Harvard Square. I like to get my falafel from Moody’s Falafel Palace in Central Square, but Joanne and Kathy raved about Sabra and I’m always up for trying a new place.
Sadly, my falafel was dry and mealy. I had even asked for extra tzatziki but that didn’t help my sandwich as it crumbled in to small chunks of chickpeas. Two people got the chicken shawarma and said that it was good, but that’s not enough to convince me to go back. Moody’s still has my loyalty.
