We shared a small plate of roasted cauliflower that was bursting with flavor from the smoked paprika vinaigrette and almonds. I also enjoyed our salad of arugula, apples, candied walnuts and cider vinaigrette. Again, such simple ingredients, but really great flavors melding together.
The menu only has 4 main entrees, but a larger assortment of pizzas. Steve had the sausage and pickled banana pepper pizza before, and he loved it. Two food reviews have also singled out this pizza. I was worried that the banana peppers would be too spicy for me, but I was willing to give it a try. Sadly, I was right and ending up picking most of the peppers off. Still the crust was thin, crispy and had good flavor. I think the mushroom pizza would have been more up my alley.
My drink, Rainbow Brite’s Pony, was delicious and Steve really enjoyed his beer. As the restaurant was half empty, our server had plenty of time to be attentive. The prices are on the high side - $20 for a 14 inch pizza seems steep.
I would say that I would come here again, but with so many other restaurants in the area to try, it might be a while.
