Fresh Catch, Mansfield

It’s a restaurant attached to a fish market. That should tell you the basics of what you need to know: the fish is fresh, the prices are reasonable and there is minimal décor.
Steve and I played in a bridge tournament in Mansfield, this past weekend and Fresh Catch was a quick 5 minute drive away. He got the Seafood Shanty: scallops, shrimp, swordfish and lobster over linguine with a white wine sauce. It was plentiful and the seafood was not overcooked. He enjoyed it. I had 1lb of steamers to start. The clams were large, but not terribly flavorful. My sushi was a step above supermarket sushi and a step and a half below Toraya. I like the cornbread in the bread basket and out waitress was attentive.
It’s a fine option, if you are in the area, but there are certainly better places for seafood (and sushi) in Boston.
