Perched on the second floor in the Galleria in Harvard Square, our window table offered a nice view of JFK St. Carol and I used a Groupon for a dinner for 2. It included an appetizer, 2 entrees, naan and a dessert. The service was extremely slow – an hour and 40 minutes is fine for a weekend meal, but a Monday night in a ¼ filled dining room? We started with tandoori wings. I was pleased that the wings were quite moist, as tandoori chicken tends to be dry. However, the wings were coated in an extremely salty spice mixture. Sadly, Carol’s tandoori rack of lamb suffered from the same issue, rendering them inedible, in addition to being overcooked. Lucky, my lamb saag was delicious, as was the garlic naan. They only had 2 offerings for dessert: rice pudding or mango cake. I was surprised that the mango cake was a light, fluffy cheesecake with decent mango flavor.

The Groupon was $28, which was a value for what we had. If I had to have paid the full price ($58), I would have been quite unhappy. There are a number of better and more affordable Indian options in Boston.
