Warehouse opened in the Financial District last month and it markets itself as a “bridge between sports bars and upscale eateries,” It should have been the perfect stop for us to grab a snack after Steve’s 5K on Sunday. Three different football games were within view of the wide bar. Nothing really excited me on the menu, so we settled on some sweet potato tots ($5) and a simple house salad ($5). The tots came in an adorable mini fryer basket – but that’s where the goodness ended. They were over cooked, bordering on brunt. I thought the interior was gluey and stuck to my teeth. The salad was uninteresting, but that is to be expected of a green salad.
I like the large industrial space and it’s probably a decent option for a post work drink, if you are in the area. I hope they do a better job with the rest of the menu.
