A few days later, we attempted to go in to town for dinner, but my poor little Honda couldn't make it up the hill to the main road, so we went to the Lounge for dinner instead.

Since I enjoyed my sandwich from the DeliBakery, I decided to get the house made pastrami sandwich again. This one had caramelized onions and Gruyere cheese. Steve's cauliflower risotto was misleading; I assumed that it was risotto with cauliflower, but this was cauliflower that was grated and cooked in the style of risotto. Really, they should list it as a cauliflower "risotto", if they are going to replace the rice. I thought it was well seasoned, but ultimately a plate of grated, steamed cauliflower is kind of boring.

I had spied a nice Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) at a neighbor's table at the DeliBakery so I ordered one for dessert. This one was a disappointment; it was smaller and had flaccid pastry.
I enjoyed the live piano in the background, and the view of the ice bar for the New Year's Eve festivities in the background.
