“Oh my god, that’s not the casing.”

I made the currywurst, it was basically sausages in a curried ketchup sauce. I’m sure this would be great at 2am after a night of drunken debauchery, but at 6pm for dinner? Not so much. I think Bri would like it.

I took the gjetost cheese out of the fridge and unwrapped it. The outside casing was a light caramel color. I attempted to cut the casing off when I realized there was no casing. The cheese is brown, truly brown and plastic like. I know, it’s not called Norwegian brown cheese for nothing, but I thought the outside, like a smoked cheese, would be brown, not the whole thing.

The cheese is sweet, really strangely sweet. I couldn’t get over the flavor, color or texture. It was like Kraft caramels and American cheese sliced got together and formed a love child.

What’s next? It’s probably time to start drinking.

Brown cheese
Thanks for sending a hunk along with Brian. I really liked. I was thinking it was as if creme brulee and soft cheese had a love child.
