I stopped by Mulan for a quick bite before the ballet on Thursday. Mulan is a Taiwanese restaurant, which is to say it has all the usual American Chinese suspects, as well as some Taiwanese specialties. I had homemade pork and leek dumplings and an order of Taiwanese pan-fried rice noodles. The wrapper on the dumpling was thick and doughy, but the filling had a nice texture and flavor. The noodles were quite tasty and I would certainly order it again. The service was brisk and businesslike which suited me fine. I will definitely be back to try some more Taiwanese specialties.
